What better way to top off a great date than with a little ‘try for baby’!

The next day Janice is in such a great mood that she gets a promotion to Drill Instructor! It’s time to celebrate with some new items: a dishwasher, end table, and a mirror. She immediately starts learning some romance, not that she really needs it with Gordon; he seems pretty attached to her already.

Janice wakes up in the middle of the night to discover her belly has started to grow. She didn’t have any morning sickness, so it’s a bit of a surprise. Her supervisor calls (yes, in the middle of the night) and tells her to take a few days off. She goes back to bed, looking forward to a few days off now that she has a bit of cash to tide her over.

Right after Janice falls asleep, Gordon sneaks by with a little gift…. Little? Not quite, it’s a Karoake machine!! Janice sells it the next morning (Monday) for $1,800 and gets some new stuff, including…

A television, a better oven, new couch, a dining table and chairs. It feels awesome to be able to get so much stuff that she needs, and some stuff that she doesn’t. That couch is nice and comfy.

And her food actually tastes better lately!

Late Monday night, the absolute unthinkable happens. No, he’s NOT sneaking by to leave a nice bouquet!!

First goes the TV.
“That’s what you get for selling my gift, sweetie-pie!”

Janice immediately calls the police and stands back as the burglar and policeman fight it out.

“Get that thieving bastard!” Janice screams. She doesn’t realize it’s Gordon.

Somehow Gordon was able to wrestle out of the cop’s grip and fled away before he could be identified. Now what was that all about? He’s lucky Janice didn’t recognize him.

“Aww, my Panasonic LCD flatscreen TV that I JUST bought!!” *sob*

“And my comfy-wumfy blue couch that I got to sit on ONCE!!” *bawl*

“Even one of my cheap, crappy chairs!! What kind of trash steals a CHAIR?!”

(He also got away with the mirror)

Tueday morning, Janice wakes up to realize that if it weren’t for Gordon’s expensive gift, she would be totally broke right now. She invites him over, not knowing if she’ll tell him about the baby yet, though it’s starting to be rather obvious.

“Gordon!! How lovely to see you! I’m glad you agreed to come by, I’ve missed you! Let me tell you about the night I had last night!…..the gift you left? No, I didn’t get it!! Someone must have stolen it before I woke up! That sucks…”

Do you think she’ll realize it was him? Or is she just blinded by love? Is it the hormones from pregnancy? No. The truth is, Gordon is the one person in the whole neighborhood that Janice really identifies with. She knows what it’s like to live on the hard side of life (and more than one ‘loved’ person in her life has stolen from her..she suspects Gordon might have a drug habit he’s maintaining). And she’s going to have to tell him about the baby at some point…

//author’s note: this xtreme legacy is really fun to play, I never expected Gordon would steal from his own girlfriend! Especially the night after he left her an $1,800 gift! (which he probably stole, lol) All in all it worked out as a net benefit, though I should have purchased a security system after getting the TV… Janice didn’t seem to care either (though I’ll admit I don’t remember looking at the relationship tab) I’m also interested to see how the noses get played out genetically…lol//

They get taken away again!

Her first day off, and that pizza smells damn good… You gotta make do when you don’t have a fridge.

By day 4, Janice can finally afford a permanent shower.

Soon she can buy a coffee table and radio, and she invites Gordon over for a little frisky dancing. She got a promotion to Elite Forces today, Day 5, so she also buys a fridge and counter.

Gordon is having a really great time, totally focused on Janice.

The next day right after work, Janice finds a love letter in the mail. It smells like love! (whatever that smells like) Gordon tells her he thinks he’s falling for her, and that he really enjoyed their first date.

She works out for a little while, aiming for that next promotion. (That day she also bought a stove, fire alarm, and double bed, planning for her next move with Gordon!)

Janice asks Gordon out on a date to Red’s Famous 50’s Diner, and they get some romantic pictures taken before dinner. They have quickly become best friends.

Doesn’t Janice look like she’s totally in love? (Either that or there’s some spinach stuck between her teeth and she’s having a hard time getting at it)

Gordon puts the moves on her, and Mrs. Crumplebottom takes a few moments to kick his ass.

Janice gets the same treatment not much longer. They just can’t help themselves!

Ouch, that friggin’ hurt!! Why don’t you go back to knitting you crabby old lady!

After all that turmoil, they’re both convinced it’s true love, and their date continues at home…

Gordon King, the local criminal around town, literally drops out of the sky to meet Janice. It is a fateful and lucky meeting: Janice has 2 lightning bolts of attraction for Gordon.

He responds positively to her signals, and the date seems to be off to a great start.

Unfortunately one of the visitors Janice went out of her way to meet doesn’t get along too well with Gordon.

With all the others out of the way, though, the date ends with Gordon and Janice falling in love. How lucky to have met a perfect match with only $14!

Janice ‘borrowed’ the sink (bought and resold) early that morning to get ready for her first day on the job.

On the way to work she thinks about what a truly good and fortuitous first day that was. She met a man she’s really attracted to, she got a job, she earned 1 cooking skill point, and she met 7 people in total that day. Aside from the fact that she owns virtually nothing, life is good. She thinks she might like this town!

Janice Savage had a bit of a rough life in her early years. Going from orphanage to family back to orphanage because she couldn’t be dealt with, failing school and eventually dropping out at 15, a lost cause, a hopeless.

At her lowest point, she stole all the money from the bar she had just gotten a job at (she was 18 by now) and fled her home city. She went to a unknown town called Andrews in the middle of the country, where land was cheap.

How did Janice go from an empty lot with nothing and only $1,500 in her pocket to this in 20 sim days? Find out later!
